AnonMember #372,718So I’ve been texting this guy for a few weeks and both of us have been very flirty and made it obvious we’re kin of into each other. He said he wants to hook up, which I’m cool with, but I wouldn’t want to go all the way just yet, it’d be my first time. I’m fairly sure that that was what he meant be hook up. He lives out of town, so it’d be a one time thing. Should I get with him and just try not to go too far, or is it stupid to consider?
February 10, 2011 at 2:08 pm #19255Bad idea. 🙁 Why make your first time a meaningless hook up with a guy you don’t even know who is using you for sex?😕 Your first time matters and while so many people have bad experiences there are gazillions of others who have wonderful and meaningful experiences. What you also don’t realize is that sex changes things for women. It usually catalyzes emotional feelings and this guy isn’t emotionally interested in you so you’re probably going to get hurt.
My advice is no. Don’t hook up. Instead, meet people in your area code who want to have real relationships with you and who’s company actually means something to you because they value you and aren’t looking for a one time quickie.
Hope that helps.
