this is a different guy than who i have ever mentioned..

There is this guy in my class in college.. the class meets once a week.. we never sit together and he never sits next to me even if there is a seat open.. we never talked until monday night when we saw each other in the library and asked if i wanted to study together for our upcoming quiz.. i said yes and we exchanged numbers.. we studied together last night in the library for our quiz which was the next day.. his friends were there.. so i don’t know if he would act flirty if they were not around because i know guys act differently when their friends are around.. last night i accidentally (it really was an accident) took back his textbook because it was on my desk.. i texted him and told him that i have his book (not sure if he believes i took it home accidentally but i think he does).. he wrote back saying “haha please bring it to class tomorrow.. and take good care of it 😉“.. he winked.. i responded saying.. “haha ok i will”.. he did not respond after that.. i cant tell if he was being flirty or playful.. anyways, i gave him back his book today in class and we laughed about it.. he sat next to me in class for the first time today.. he wasnt being flirty.. u dont really get to talk to other students much in that class anyway so i dont know.. after the quiz, we left class and he said.. “have a good weekend” and we walked in different directions.

on a side note, while we were studying in the library he said that he would be right back because he had to use the bathroom.. his friends were i guess teasing him and said something along the lines of.. “he is going to jerk off”.. i am not sure if they said that because he was studying with me.. i did not really socialize with his friends so it would be kind of random for them to say it because of me.

this guy and I were studying together in the library and his book was on my desk so i accidentally took it back to my dorm (it really was an accident but i don’t know what he thinks). i texted him saying i accidentally took back his book and he wrote back.. “haha give it back to me tomorrow please.. and take good care of it 😉“.. was he flirting or just being playful? it is the first time he has sent me a wink. after that i said, “haha ok i will” and he didnt text back.. we are not friends, but he asked me to study with him so we did (that’s the night i accidentally took back his book). he was not flirty before while studying, but maybe thats just because his friends were there. in general, in class, he never sits next to me even when there’s a seat open next to me. But maybe he will sit next to me now since we studied together.

this is not the same guy as before…

basically i did not know him before class started.. 3 weeks ago, the first day of class, this guy comes in and sits right next to me, even though there were many other seats open.. it takes him like 5 minutes to strike up a conversation, but he does.. ever since then, he has been sitting next to me.. he is nice.. he doesn’t really flirt (at least i don’t think so).. but i have always found it bizzare how he sat right next to me the first day of class without knowing me.. everyone else who was in the class at the time, were scattered.. no one was sitting next to each other.. the class did not start for 15 mins.. anyways a few days ago he asked me if i would ever want to get dinner or something outside of class.. i said yes and then we exchanged numbers.. today in class he asked me if i can do dinner tonight.. i went to dinner with him at the dining hall in our college. i cant tell if he likes me. he was being nice, but he was not really complimenting me. is it possible he only likes me as a friend? considering all the details i gave you…

on a side note, why do you think he sat right next to me the first day of class when there were hundreds of seats open? we did not know each other.

there is this cute guy in my music class. i dont know him. the class started 3 weeks ago. however, this past week he started sitting next to me. i have never noticed him before because the class is big. the class has around 100 students but the assembly has 230 seats, meaning that all the students are scattered. this means that he chose to sit next to me because there is plenty other seats available. i sit in the front row, and no one wants to sit there especially because the class is so boring. i think he might have sat there because of me. i scanned the row i am in and theres no other cute girls besides me (not to sound cocky). he has not spoken to me yet. he is probably intimidated and i am intimidated also. last class he smiled at me when we were packing up our bags to leave. do you think he is into me? if yes, how can i start a conversation with him? we don’t know each others names.

the reason why i am unsure that he is into me is because he looks like a jock. i am considered to be really pretty but in a traditional, regal way. like audrey hepburn. i also do not wear revealing clothes. i feel like maybe he would think we do not go together.

thanks for your insight. but lets say he stops sitting next to me in class? i always arrive to class earlier so i am sitting first. he could either now think i am mean because i was quiet with my guy friend, or think my guy friend is my boyfriend.
