    Hi April,

How to know whether someone is interested on me based on the speed of the text reply? Well, lately, i have been sending texts to someone, let’s call her Apple. In the beginning, her response were swift but now it’s no longer the case. I have to wait few hours before she reply. At first, i thought she was busy with some other stuff, but she was online on social media all the time and even post some articles. I knew her for quite a long time, we used to have crush on each other.(I’m not making this up, a friend told me that she used to have crush on me), just that we never had the opportunity to go further. Lately, she’s been liking and commenting my posts on social media, and she’s the one that start approaching me first by sending text messages. I’m not always sensitive to relationship stuff, so i’m kinda curious, is she just being polite and not interested on me at all? Sorry if my messages might seems confusing as English is not my native language…thank you so much

If you meet someone you’re interested in, and there seems to be mutual interest, you have a limited time frame in which to ask her out on a date, before she thinks you’re not interested in dating and moves on, so as not to waste her time. You never asked her out, and I think she’s probably decided you’re not interested in dating her. If you are, you should ask her out on a date and continue the relationship on a new level, beyond the friend zone. If you’re not interested in dating her, understand that she’s looking for a boyfriend and if you’re not that guy, she’s not going to give you as much attention as she would if you were.

    I hope that helps! 🙂
