I just started seeing this guy about 2 weeks ago and it’s been amazing! We have gone out on about 5 dates and when we’re not seeing eachother in person he texts me every day and always asks me how my day has been. Last week he told me he would be super busy for the week and wouldn’t be able to see me until the end of the week. I understood but when I asked to see him a few days back he was super short with me reminding me he was busy. I sort of snapped at him but quickly apologized for being sassy and he replied with “naw all good”. Since then he hasn’t texted or called. I’m trying to give him space but it’s been two days now with no contact and that’s just a huge change from talking every day. Should I be concerned? Did I ruin it by being too clingy? I really want to contact him but again don’t want to over react or be pushy. We’re supposed to see eachother sunday but that’s 4 days away :/ what do I do??

also i might have also told him “i have high expectations for our date this weekend because he was making me wait so long” but i meant in a jokingly playful way and now i feel like an idiot ..

If you’ve had a great time with a guy, and he lets you know he’s got a busy week ahead, it’s respectful to honor what he’s telling you, not put your own needs first. This is an opportunity for you to practice generosity. 🙂 When someone asks you for something, and it’s reasonable, give it to them, with grace. 😉
