Hello April!
I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years now, he has type 1 Diabetes. And have no idear if it’s the meds that makes his penis small or just has a small penis ? Long story short out of the 3 years only once he got me too orgasm during sex.( I am on antidepressants, so that doesn’t help much)And on top of that, he has a pump attracted to his stomach, and in high school girls would say how gross it was. He was too afraid to date. So I’m the only girl he has had sex with and it is pretty bad….. I don’t no want to do? I don’t want to insult his manly parts. On something he has no control over? But we have been talking about married I just don’t no if I can live the rest of my life like this. And hopefully someday I will be off my meds. And I no without them my sex drive is crazy.

One more question. One of his college buddies just eloped and was kind of upset. He didn’t have a sit down with the guys to ask them what they think if he should marry her?.. I’m kind of confused is that what guys should do? I feel like if you no in your heart and soul this person is the one, would you say “hey guys I’m going to get married”.. Done. Then if they have concerns it would come up? Not. Should I marry her? Makes me think is he doing that? < this alone makes me want to end it. 1/10 marriages ends in divorce. My parents are still together. And I want to be to at there age.

Thank you.

You are my only hope. I talk my friends they say talk to your therapist. I have been with him for so long. I no what he will say. Legit (giggle) “well someday he won’t have one at all”

I’m not a physician and it seems like you have some medical questions that would best be answered by a medical doctor. For instance, if your medicine is making it difficult for you to have an orgasm, it may be beneficial for you to ask your doctor if a different dose or a different medicine would help. However, if you and your boyfriend are having a sexual incompatibility because of his size, or his abilities, it may be a good idea to ask your own physician the questions you have about him, as he’s affected by his diabetes.

The issue you’re having with his inexperience have a lot to do with good communication between the two of you. If you’d like to have more orgasms in bed, consider taking responsibility for showing and telling him what you like — which means you have to know, yourself! 😉 There are a lot of women in your shoes, who would like to have better sex with a committed partner, so rather than settling, or blaming him, see what you can do for your relationship in terms of amping up your sex life. I’ve written a book called Romantic Date Ideas which is written to help you get your sex life back on track. You can buy the book here: https://www.askapril.com/relationship-dating-advice/romantic-date-ideas.html. 🙂 I think it might help. It’s more about setting the stage and getting in the mood — but for women, those are important facets of sex and romance, and many men feel the same way. 😀

As for your last question about boyfriend’s disappointment that his friend didn’t ask his opinion before eloping, it sounds like he didn’t approve of the marriage, never said anything, and was waiting for an invitation to say something. When the invitation never came, he felt disappointed. The truth is that it’s probably better that he didn’t get the opportunity because his friend’s marriage is between the friend and his wife. Some people like to have support from others they know will approve of a decision, like a marriage — while others are confident enough to simply make decisions themselves. Your boyfriend’s friend may have known he wasn’t going to get good news if he asked your boyfriend’s opinion, so he just didn’t. I’m not sure your boyfriend is the type of person who needs a committee to make a decision as much as he feels he wanted to be heard by his friend regarding that friend’s marriage.

I hope that helps!
