My boyfriend and I are about to celebrate our one year anniversary and we’re not sure how we want to celebrate it. At first we had planned to wait and have intercourse on our one year, but of course we didn’t hold off on that… he was my first and hopefully my last. Then we were going to get promise rings, but we got those early because he had to go away to college and he wanted to make me a promise to remain faithful even though we’d be apart. So I need a new plan… I keep ruining my own. We are planning on celebrating this weekend but I don’t know how. Any suggestions? 💡

You can be romantic and go back to the scene of the crime! Relive your fist date — wherever that was! Making traditions in a relationship makes them personal and special. If on each annual anniversary you go back to that same movie you saw — or rent it and watch it together — or do whatever you did on that first date, you’ll have a memory to build on.

I hope that works for you. Let me know what you do!
