Yes — this can work! But…. if he wants a baby together, and you’re 42, consider that what he wants is going to be a little tougher than if you were 32. Explore this topic and figure out if it’s a deal breaker for him, or if you’re both interested in adoption or other methods of having a baby just in case the natural way doesn’t work out.
If he’s sharing photos of the two of you as a couple, it means he’s proud and into the relationship. You didn’t mention how long the two of you have been dating…. that’s kind of key to what the sharing means, etc. If you’ve only been dating a few months, it’s too soon to know whether this can go the distance or not. If it’s been two years that you’ve been dating, then I’d say this relationship is in a good place for a future. That his mom is sharing the photos of you and her son is definitely a good sign!
