Hello my name is Robert I’m 26 and I have been dating a 19 year old. We dated for 8 months then told Mr she’s not in love with me anymore but still wanted to be friends. She says she loves me and no one else will love her the way I do. Also she knows we’re gonna get married in the future. She still likes to be around with me and I give her money but she continues to pass me up for other guys. I love her to death but should I move on? Why does she love me and wants to marry me in the future but doesn’t want to be with me? I’m so confused!

Let her behavior be your guide and you won’t be confused any more. She has broken up with you — that’s your cue to move on. Whatever she said to you to cushion the pain isn’t necessarily true or believable. She’s young and she did the best she could with the break up, but bottom line is that she isn’t interested in dating you any more. She’s looking to other men. You should move on.
