Towards last month(I’m going off to college soon) I started liking my friend who sits next to me in my English class(he’s a junior soon to be senior) but I’m not sure if he feels the same way. I strictly liked him as a friend prior to last month, any contact we had was strictly friendly. There’s been some signals he’s given that could mean he likes me like the following
He once tapped me on the arm to show me a funny part in the book he was reading in class one day
He’s invited me to go partying with him and also to his house to chill
He liked one of my posts on instagram
A big one was when he took heavy interest in a conversation with my best friend who sits to the right of me about my summer
fling texting me the night before… He later asked me when/with whom I lost my virginity to and how many people I’ve slept with
    Jokingly teases me
Tells me jokes to make me laugh
He also asked me about my ex boyfriend
He doesn’t break eye contact when we speak to each other

But here’s what throws me off
He told me he doesn’t commit to relationships, like he gets around
He doesn’t initiate texting convo with me(except for one late night where he sent me a video via Snapchat of him really high)
He takes a long time to respond to my texts and when he does, his responses are short
The day he asked me about my virginity he also told my best friend “if I like a girl, I’m gonna slide into her DM’s”

I’m not sure whether to keep pursuing him because I’m not sure how he feels; what should I do? Please help!

It sounds like he’s interested in hooking up, but not necessarily a committed relationship. The big clue is that he told you that he’s not interested in relationships. And his asking about your virginity and sexual experience means he’s trying to gauge your attitude and experience towards sex. If you want to hook up and have that kind of relationship, keep flirting and the invitation will come. If you want a commitment, he’s not your guy. I hope that helps! 😉
