froc1Member #373,744Hello
I had a guy friend who I decided to take to year end formal dance .During the dance he was flirting with me and I thought afterwards that he liked me ?I saw him few weeks later and he was still flirtatiousVery soon later he leaves to study overseas and time I have started liking him
During varsity break he comes back home and I ask him to go for coffee ,he declines saying his busyOkay I thought people get busy,a year later I happen to be in same country where he studies
He gives his local number and I invite him to come see me ,on 3 occasions in 3 weeks that I was there he makes up various excuses
Despite this and during his course I chat with him occasionallyAt one point considering all this I decide to stop chatting with him as I see no effort from his side ,I am always initiating conversation etc
After the “break”up I go say hello to him and when he initially spots me he gives me a annoyed look
Now he has a new girlfriend ,he is making it so obvious he wants to make me jealous eg he directly looks at me and then puts his arm around her and when he notices me in his vicintity he starts being affectionate with herI just do not understand this guy ?He is making me so confused about his feelings
May 3, 2016 at 11:49 am #34058I’m not sure why you’re confused — he’s being very clear with you. 😕 You invited him to a dance and he went, but after that, he’s rebuffed all your offers. He doesn’t initiate conversation and he has taken a girlfriend. He doesn’t like you. But someone else will.
😉 If you stop spending your time and energy on this guy who’s dating someone, you’ll be able to be single, flirtatious and open to other guys who do like you and who do want to date you!Shift your energy.

froc1Member #373,744Thanks so much i was sure that moving on was the right thing for me The confusion was mostly on why he is trying to obviously make me jealous when he does not like me anyways ?
May 3, 2016 at 9:21 pm #34074He may have a cruel streak where he wants you to feel badly about the way things worked out. Or he may not be trying to make you feel jealous at all. Either way, you’ll be a lot happier if you shift your focus elsewhere. 😉 - MemberPosts
