This guy has recently has been talking to me a lot during class. Sometimes the conversations are completely pointless. He’s always listening to my conversations with other people and jumping into them. But today I was talking to my friend, right next to me, and he was telling me to be quiet and I wasn’t even loud. Later on, we were doing partner work and I was asking one of my other friends a question and he turned around and was saying I was too loud, once again I wasn’t loud at all- he never talks like that to anyone. I don’t get it. He was trying to talk to me the other day but some girl kept getting in the conversation but I could see him looking at me every couple second to see if I was listening. Does he like me or something?

It sounds like he likes you, and he’s frustrated he’s not getting the attention from you that he wants, so he’s acting annoyed at you — when he’s really annoyed at the situation. If you’re interested, test the waters by talking to him. See if his behavior changes when you give him some positive attention. 😉

Continuing on from my last question today I was talking and he was telling me to be quiet, so I just made a sad face. He started saying, “I’m just kidding, I like it when you talk.” We had some school dance awhile back and he didn’t go with anyone but he was hanging with someone older than us, and in class he was being obnoxious and was saying “yeah I can’t wait to go on a date with her again.” -he never points stuff like that out, and he’s never that loud. I was also telling my friend that I was nervous because we had to present something and he was telling me to go over it with and he called me babygirl. Does he actually like me? If so, how should I get his number?

Today I asked to borrow a pencil and when I gave it back at the end of class, I said thank you and he responded with, “you’re welcome. I’m never gonna wash this pencil ever again.” What did he mean by that?

How should I ask him for his number? I only have one class with him and we aren’t aloud to have phones at schoo so I can’t call my number from his phone.-haha.
Is there a way to get it without asking? Like give him a hint?

DON’T ASK HIM FOR HIS NUMBER!

Let him chase you — not the other way around. Flirt with him, so he has something to chase after. Guys love to chase and win, and if you take the opportunity away from him, he’s not going to feel as good about you or the relationship as if you let him be the one to ask for and get your number. 😉

The very next day (after he held my hand) I was joking around in class and telling him to hold my hand, and he just stared at me… He didn’t say no, just stared, and said his hands were sweaty because he just got back from playing basketball. I said I didn’t care and he continued to stare at me without saying anything so I played it off and said “fine, I didn’t want to hold your hand anyway”. He was quiet the whole hour but I could feel him looking at me. However, he normally leaves class as soon as the bell rings, but he stayed a bit after class. I always walk with a friend to my next hour so he was making small talk with her. It was so weird, he could’ve just left, all of his stuff was packed up but he didn’t leave, finally when he did leave he lingered the whole time and was taking glances back. Why did he do that?
