I would like to be with a man who has a college degree. However, my friend is trying to set me up with a colleague of hers. He wrote down his number and email, gave to her, and she gave me the paper. (Feels like high school right?) He has a much lower education level, though. He completed high school and has not attended college. I already have a negative perspective, because I worry about how we will be able to support ourselves in the future, if he does not have a stable background; and especially in this economy. Should I call him or not? I am in my thirties (age) if that helps.

    Confused – and I don’t want to disappoint anyone….

No. If you know that you want to date a guy with a college degree, then why not stick to that? You’re free to have a list of what you do and don’t want, and it’s your choice and your responsibility to date smart. Why waste time? 😉 If you only wanted to date tall guys — that’s your prerogative. If you only want to date guys who vote with a particular political party, that’s your choice, too. You get to decide who to date and who not to date. 🙂
