Hi there.

I’m a bit stuck on the location to propose to my girlfriend.

I’m not doing it just yet,just preparing.

Her parents live in cornwall, and she used to live there and visits a lot, and there is a place there she really likes and says its her favourite place in the world, i always make a joke of “but you’ve not been everywhere”.

its on a hill, where theres a bench, overlooking the sea.

Anyway, do you think this would be a preferred location, rather than somewhere hot/sunny?

We’re going to egypt later in the year so i have 2 options really. I want it to mean something(which could be cornwall) but I don’t want her to not be proud of the location, i.e. if people say, my bf proposed in paris, mexico etc etc, oh, mine proposed in cornwall..

struggling to come to a suitable choice lol.

What a great fiance you are! 😀 I think you can’t go wrong with either her favorite place in the world (my first choice) or an exotic hot and sunny place that she can brag about (second choice). The important thing, really, is that you love her and want to be the best husband in the world to her and share your lives together for better or for worse. Wherever you go to propose, you’re going to make her very happy, and I can tell how much you want to do that for her.
