I met this guy while I was at work and our relationship started off as a sexual one. We were only suppose to get together if each of us “wanted some”, first big mistake I already know. Well I began having feelings for him because sometimes we would just hang out or talk without doing anything, and the more I got to know him the more I like him, and now it has gotten to the point to where he is all I think about I want to be with him so bad and we have so much in common, we understand each other so well it seems, only problem is that he is still in love and heavily head over heels for his ex-fiance. They still talk to each other they are starting to see each other and I wouldnt be surprised if they’ve began sleeping with each other. I am so torn and so hurt because I really care about him and we have talked about being together and he told me that if he wasn’t so emotionally wrapped up in her that he would be with me, and I can understand that but I don’t know how to either let go completely or just accept the fact that we are friends and nothing more than that. So if I could get some serious advice from someone who has been through this before I would greatly appreciate it. I am really stuck because this guy is very special and if I could find a way to get him then I’d do it but it seems I’ve tried all I know.

My best advice is you gotta talk to him. Seriously sit down with him and explian how you’re feeling, if you dont its just going to tear you up even more. It’s better to find out now if this will go anywhere then to find out later when you have fallen for him even more. Its a really hard thing to deal with I was in a situation like this quite a few years back. I just told him how I felt and unfortunately for me he didnt want the same things as me, but I was happy I spoke to him because I knew where we stood. I am happy to say I am now married with a beautiful baby boy. I hope this helps you! Good luck.
