As a friend, you can listen. Only she knows the reason that she fell out of love with her husband and she may figure out what’s going on on a deeper level by talking about her feelings with someone. You could be that friend that helps her understand what’s going on in her marriage by simply listening.
Relationships require commitment in order to last. Everyone has differences of opinion in spite of being in love, compatible and sharing goals. Sometimes those differences of opinion can spark fights and ill will between couples. Understanding your spouse or partner and more importantly, understanding yourself and your own limits, is key to making a relationship work. Making deals with each other — or compromises — is another way to bridge differences. And anyone in a relationship that lasts over the long term knows that there are sacrifices to be made for the sake of the relationship.
So falling out of love is specific to each relationship and the way a relationship can evolve is based on commitment, communication, compromise and sacrifice for the greater good of the relationship.
I hope that helps.
