People handle stress in different ways, and if you’re committed to her and the relationship, it’s a good idea to find out what it is that’s stressing her because that’s the primary problem — her communication with you is a result of that problem. Maybe it’s a problem she can talk through with you and maybe you can offer advice on how to handle the situation. You can also let her know how her stress affects you and that gives her the opportunity to understand the dynamics of the relationship a little more.
All relationships involve stress at some point and this is a good way to figure out if the two of you can handle stress, and how you do it. Be open and creative in your ability to ask questions, hear her, and problem solve together. 😉
