So I’ve been dating this guy for almost 2 years and everything is great. But I can’t help feeling like I want to be single and explore other options. I love him so much and we have a dog together and he wants to marry me but neither of us are ready for that anytime soon. I honestly wish I could press pause and on our relationship and see what else is out there. But then again I don’t want to not have him in my life. I’m just so confused and could really use some help right now

You have to figure out which you want more — being single or being together. However, if you’re together and you wish you were single, you’re not going to have a fulfilling relationship and he’s going to eventually feel your reticence. From his point of view, it won’t feel very nice for him to be with someone who doesn’t want to be with him — even if you love each other. And eventually, that will start to grate on the relationship. 😕 It sounds like you don’t really want to be with him — but you’re afraid to be single more than you want to be with him, and that fear is holding you back. I think if after two years, you’re feeling this way, you should probably move on.
