Okay, I’m going crazy over here trying to figure this out. I was at a horse show a couple weeks ago, while I was working my horse the night before the show, in the ring with a couple other competitors (normally before an all weekend horse shows the arena will be open the night before for riders to openly ride their horses around) and I was doing a maneuver with my trainer who was also on a horse called a run down which is basically just running in a straight line from one end of the arena to the other then stopping. Well while I was doing this I noticed a cute guy talking to my trainer, after I had stopped my trainer talked to me a little then left to go down to the other end of the arena and wait for me to come down again. I felt like someone was looking at me so I turned and saw the guy looking at me he smiled and introduced himself and I smiled and did the same, I made a comment about how I was green if he couldn’t tell and he laughed and said we all have to start somewhere and I said yea then my trainer yelled for me to begin my run down so I did without saying anything else. That was the only time we talked the entire weekend (Friday night to sunday afternoon) I caught him looking at me a couple times, and even smiled once but he nervously half smiled and looked away quickly. I friend requested him on Facebook and he accepted, through the urging of a girl friend I messaged him the next day, we talked for about 10-20 mins but he didn’t message back but all I messaged him was “yepp” so there was really nothing he could reply. I haven’t tlked to him since, I wont see him again until the next show in January. Was he interested? If so do I still have a chance with him in January? What should I do??? Help please!

It sounds like he was interested, but not enough to get your phone number or ask you out on a date.

You will have a chance to make another impression on him in January when you see him again. You should flirt with him so that he knows you’re interested, and if he wants your number or another way to contact you, he’ll get it. 😉

In the meantime, try not to obsess about him. Keep busy and keep meeting other guys. It’s over month until you’ll see him again, so enjoy the holidays, and when you do see, be happy and intriguing so he’ll want to know you more.
