Hi April,
I’m 26 and I’ve been in a relationship for a year, then suddenly we have to be in a long-distance relationship because of work. At first, I thought I could handle it, as long as we loved each other but it turns out it’s really hard. I miss him all the time and even little stuff, like not being able to hang out or talk in person, gets frustrating.
We text and video call but it’s still different when we’re together, when I can actually hold her. Sometimes we get annoyed at each other over dumb stuff, and I worry the distance is making problems bigger than they really are.
I really care about him and wanna make this work but I’m not sure how to keep our connection strong while we’re apart. What actually helps long-distance relationships survive and even thrive?
