Hi Guys,

It’s my first time I am asking online advice. There is a guy I met online. We met through a dating website. We talk about dating, marriage and the other things like future, family..I think I have a crush on him.
We have seen each other 3 times and had lots of fun together. His body language says that he likes me. But the problem is that he calls me randomly and talks only for few minutes. We texted constantly for around 5 days and suddenly he stopped. But yesterday suddenly he proposed me with a promise ring. I am afraid what is going on around us. He bought a diamond ring from a diamond jewelry store, phera diamonds with this beautiful ring

You can have a look at the ring. It’s too costly. But the problem is that he calls me randomly and not always .Should I accept him? I am confused. Please help me..

Well, it’s a beautiful ring — and it sure looks like an engagement ring, but I understand your hesitation to accept such a gift after only three dates. My advice is to tell him that you’re flattered, but that you’d like him to hold on to it. He doesn’t have to return it, but he does have to “take custody of it” so that the two of you can get to know each other better and feel more certain that this is a good idea. If he’d given you a necklace or a pair of earrings after three dates, that would have been a lovely gift. But a ring carries marriage significance and it’s too soon to be considering marriage since it’s only 3 dates in. I hope that helps! 🙂

It would be better if you clarify his true intentions first because you’re confused by his behavior, especially since he’s not being consistent in making an effort to talk to you. That way, your confusion can lessen and you’ll know where you really stand with him.

You can also tell him that you like him and that you still want to get to know him better. As for the ring, maybe it’s better for him to keep it for now until he becomes completely sure about what he really wants.
