However, don’t text him so much. Let him take the lead. Your systematic morning and evening texts are too much too soon right now. You have to give him something to chase — and if you’re throwing these texts at him, it doesn’t give him the opportunity to text you first and set the tone and the pace. In fact, it puts him on the defensive having to apologize for not texting back soon enough or often enough.
