I’m getting married to a girl soon who I know is a very lovely person, mature though quite emotional as well. The problem is that i’m not that much of an extrovert or the talkative kind. After a couple of chats, where I managed to keep chatting, asking all kinds of general and at times irrelevant questions, I’ve ran out of things to talk about.. other than how the day was, what she’s doing, etc. Now, I know that she’s more on the talkative and bubbly side but seeing that I go silent, she’s stopped chatting much too, and it’s a deadening long silence on our phone calls most of the times, and when I try to discuss why she’s doing that or try to explain that I’m not the chatty type, and try to make an effort to keep our conversations alive.. she just gets upset, and either goes silently off with me or goes mad at me, and we end up at a bad note.. can anyone help on how to mitigate this?
