Okay My boyfriend and I has been dating a little over a month , and his sister was my
friend too . But once we started going out , she does whatever it takes to try to break us up . Example , She hacked his facebook account and pretended to be him and broke up with me and insulted me . She also insults/tease us for going out . Plus, whenever we talk on the phone or chat she’s always right there listening . I’ve done tried talking to her about it three times . Also, if I even try to talk to another guy she immediately runs to him and tells him I’m flirting or cheating on him . I also think if I’m mean to her or something then she’ll get him to dump me . I don’t know what to do, any advice ?

You’re not going to change your boyfriend’s sister anytime soon. She’s jealous and immature. The more you talk to her and ask her to stop annoying you and sabotaging the relationship, the more she’s going to dig in and do more damage.

My advice is to tell your boyfriend about the problem and ignore his sister as much as possible. Sometimes obstacles like his sister can bring you and he closer together! Don’t waste any more negative energy on his sister. Instead, focus on all that’s good between you and him and try to enjoy the relationship rather than giving credence to annoyances like the sister.

I hope that helps! Let me know how things go, and join me @AskAprilcom on Twitter and on Facebook at this link: . 🙂

I’m sorry that things didn’t work out. Next time you date someone, look for a guy who doesn’t have family and friends who become obstacles to the relationship! 😉
