What can a person do when someone won’t speak to them, but won’t tell them why? I have some familly members that are very upset with me, and are influencing other family members to avoid me. I have asked and asked what is wrong, but they refuse to talk to me. Other family members say that I should know what the problem is and if I can’t figure it out myself, then too bad.

I honestly do not know why they are upset. I want to know, but I just get nowhere when I try to reach them. I’m supposed to “know in my heart” what I have done to offfend them. I don’t recall doing anything to cause this situation.

There is only so much you can do when your partner or family members refuse to communicate with you, so quit banging your head against the wall and trying to get them to tell you what you did. You’ve asked. They’ve refused to answer. Continue living your life, keeping your side of the street clean, so to speak, by behaving well to everyone. In this case that’s all you can do.
