So i dated this guy for one summer, and he knew from the start that I was moving abroad for one year but we decided to give it a try anyway. In the end we decided to break up, but we kept in touch and talked almost everyday while I was in Europe. I’m sending out postcards to all my friends and family now, would it be weird to send him a postcard?

No, I think it’s a nice idea. 😉 Just make sure you don’t create something you don’t really want, or can’t follow through on. In other words, if you just want to be friendly, then you should make sure that the message doesn’t imply anything other than that. He may be reading between the lines, so make sure that you say what you intend to say, and not anything more. 😉
