My girlfriend, who I’ve been/lived with for almost 3 years believes that I raise my voice too often and that I don’t talk to her nicely all the time. Her parents agree with this and don’t want meto come around while she’s working because of this. I feel terrible, I never meant to sound bad by doing this, it’s just the way I talk and react to certain things, my whole family is like this, what do I need to do in order to make them happy?
Wait a minute — is this a trick question? 😆 All you need to do is lower your voice and try to speak more sweetly to her. It sounds like that will make them all happy. If you make an effort instead of virtually saying, “This is who I am, so deal with it,” they’ll all be happy. 😀
