My boyfriend is on probation which means no drugs or alcohol but there is this stuff called pep spice that is 100% legal and doesn’t show up on drug tests but he wants to smoke it.
I’m not okay with it and I have expressed it many times but he still does it.
I don’t know why I don’t like it or don’t want him doing it, it just makes me uncomfortable and i don’t want him to do it because its mind altering.

I don’t know what to do or say anymore cause I don’t want to tell him what he can or cannot do but it upsets me a lot.

Follow your instincts — they are good ones. Find a new boyfriend who is more respectful of himself, the law and society and you! Someone who doesn’t take care of themselves (physically or legally) is going to be disrespectful in a relationship. Likewise, a guy who takes good care of himself is going to take care of you and the relationship. Look for that from now on.

This guy is going to continue to be in trouble because he’s looking for ways to get a thrill and bend the law, and if you stay with him, you’re going to end up heartbroken and possibly in trouble yourself.

Move on and find a better boyfriend — honestly, from what you’ve described, it shouldn’t be too hard.
