I really like this girl that I have became friends with at the community college I go to. We are in two of the same classes and hangout with each other at school all the time. We talk outside of school and hangout sometimes but the only thing we both are always busy outside of school. I really like her and want to spend time with her but she works 2 jobs and works whenever she doesn’t have school. Like she works from when the stores open to when they close and when she gets back home it’s like midnight. She is the top worker at both of her jobs and they always ask her to work as much as possible. I work also but not as much as she does.

Sometimes when I ask her to hangout she will say that she has to work. It seems like the only time we do get to hangout is when I ask her like a week or two in advance. She always tells me she doesn’t know how she has friends because all she does is work. Or sometimes we plan to grab coffee or lunch and she will call me telling me that she has to take a raincheck because someone called in sick to work and they need her to work.

I really like her and she likes me but I don’t know what to do? I don’t want to tell her that she works too much and needs to take time off for some fun. Should I ask her in advance to take off work so we can go on a date?

Since you started a string of posts on October 6, please go to that string and “reply” with this new question. It’s much easier if you keep all your posts in one place, so I can see them all when I answer your questions, and so, too, can anyone else who wants to help you out. 😉

I’ll look out for your re-post and answer you as soon as you do that. 🙂
