About two weeks ago my girl broke it off with me (we were together for 6 months). I told her I want something more serious and she said she couldn’t do that and felt like we need to end it. I told her I would not walk away from her and would be there for her. She emailed me and said I know your heart hurts. Mine does. We emailed for a few more days and she stated that she needs space and time for now. I bought some flowers and a card left it on her door two days ago. She did not send a response. I was thinking about asking her out to coffee on Sunday. I do miss her a lot; any words of advice will help. I know she has commitment issues but, not sure how to get through her walls.
Four years ago she was engaged and living with her finance. He told her to pack up her crap and to move out. I know that must have been devastating.
As for us we get a long great and the only real problem was after we broke up I tried to speak to two of her friends. That is the worst I done.
If you can shed some light on the situation (maybe what she may be thinking and best course of action for me to get back into her life).

It takes two people to make a relationship work, but only one to end it. If she isn’t interested in dating you any more, and she has a good reason, the best thing you can do is move on. It sounds like she told you she’s not interested in a serious relationship with you and you are interested in a serious relationship. In her mind that makes the two of you incompatible. If she knows what she wants, and this isn’t it, it’s best to respect that.

My advice is to move on. If she changes her mind, she’ll know where to find you — in addition to which, women often find men who are less available more attractive than those who are more available, so by your taking care of yourself, and moving on, she may realize what it is she’s lost, and if it’s something she wants back, she’ll let you know. 😉

    I hope that helps.
