Mimibrew93Member #289,345I met this girl on a social networking site, we have been communicating for a couple of months now and we talk literally everyday we are very good friends and we get along very well. The only problem I’m having right now is I can’t seem to get her to meet me. Every time we make plans to meet she blows me off at the last minute with some random excuse and when I point it out to her she gets upset . I’m at the point where I don’t know whether to settle for this form of friendship or keep on asking . I don’t know what move to make now CIA I’ve run out of options
June 26, 2014 at 4:07 pm #28328If she won’t meet you, then move on. There are lots of reasons that people you meet on the internet won’t meet in person. Those reasons range from: Not really being interested in a relationship that’s real to not being who the person says they are. Unfortunately, while the internet is generally a great tool for meeting new people, it’s also a crutch for those who want to conduct an entire long-term relationship online to avoid real life problems, and it’s a vehicle for men pretending to be women, women pretending to be men, fat people pretending to be thin, old people pretending to be young, young people pretending to be old — and a whole lot of other scenarios that you can only begin to imagine. As a rule, if you meet someone online and he or she won’t agree to meet in person within 3 weeks, move on. 😉 [b]Everyone likes to be liked!
