I messed up and sent a text message to my boyfriend (was intended for my best friend ) stating that I didn’t like a gift he had given me. I feel terrible about it and I have apologized but he won’t talk to me. He said I was ungrateful and I understand it was hurtful but to stop talking over a pair of shoes?
It’s been a week tomorrow from the incident and any contact. I don’t know if I should text him or not. I’m scared he won’t respond and it will hurt all over again. One minute I’m mad cause it’s something so trivial and he could end it just like that the next I’m sad cause I miss him very much. I was good to him and he was good to me. I might have put in more than him but nonetheless I was wrong and it was out of character for me.
