Okay so I’ve been dating this same guy for 2 years. I love him and all but the other night I went out with friends and had this other guy hit on me. He treated me so nice telling me how cute I was and just told me what I wanted to hear that I don’t hear at home. We exchanged numbers and were texting, he kept tellin me he really liked me and wanted to go on a date. I decided to tell him I had a bf bc I thought itd be best. I said we can still talk bc if sumthings there I don’t wanna pass it up. He said it was very sweet that I was honest but not to text him bc he didn’t wanna be a homewrecker. So I deleted his number :(. I don’t wanna break up with my bf but I can’t stop thinking about this guy I met and what coulda been. I know it’ll pass eventually but what should I do? Should I wait a while then try to contact him again? Or just let this ‘crush’ pass??

You can’t have it both ways. In other words, you can’t have your boyfriend of two years, and still date this other guy. So decide if you’re really ready to stay in a long term committed relationship at your age or if you’d rather play the field and see what else is out there for you. It’s not fair to be contacting other guys while seeming to be faithful to your long term boyfriend so pick one or the other.
