I have been talking to this girl for 2 months. She showed interest in me and we hung out a few times. She would call every night. She got into a fight with her mom, her mom kicked her out the house but now she’s back. Ever since that she changed. She told me she doesn’t want to be with anyone and rather focus on school. She then said she doesn’t want to hurt me so she decided we should stop talking. That same night she text me saying she felt lonely and she had no friends. I texted her back saying I am still your friend, no response.
Tonight she put up on facebook a picture of her all dressed up saying she was waiting for her friend.

Was she ever interested, lose interest, just needs time, or is she secretly trying for someone else?

She was interested, but it sounds like she has some things going on in her own life that have nothing to do with you, that she’s working on. It’s important to take care of business in your own life before you get into a relationship so you don’t bring that unnecessary baggage with you. She’s trying to take care of her own business and isn’t really a great candidate for a relationship right this second because of that.

Thank you April. I wasn’t even looking to move on but a week later another girl started talking to me and I just wanted to be friends but it is progressing. Thank you for the response it helped.
