kirk1208Member #8,609Dear April,
Ok so about two weeks have passed since my ex-girlfriend broke up with me. She randomly texted me two days ago to see how I was and she got to talking about our relationship and how she didn’t want me to move on. Anyways, she ended up having to stop talking because she was getting emotional about it all. She then, the next day, contacted me again and started talking just about how our day was, but it was a short conversation. So, I ended up texting her tonight and we just started talking and being goofy like we had always been. So, I am just confused on where to take it from here. I have been talking to everyone and they do not know what I should do. Should I stop texting her again and let her come back to me? Or should I try to set up a date so that we can possibly work things out? I don’t know if she has had enough “time” to herself and I don’t want to push it, but then again I want her to work towards getting ME back, because she did tell me that we would probably be getting back together, but I don’t want her to thing that its going to be easy. I’m sorry if that’s confusing, but that’s basically what my mind is right now. Should I take the next step and asking her out or should I wait a little more? Thank you so much for your advice, I really am grateful that you take your time out of the day for me. Thank You!Alex

Either she’s in or she’s out, and her texts as you’ve described them, indicate she’s in. Good luck! March 9, 2026 at 5:02 pm #52773
Danica DannaMember #382,774It’s very simple 🙂 try to ask her for a date and tell her your feelings for her is still there and never fade and ask her if you two can be together again. if she wants to reconnect, she will agree and say yes.
