My ex an I broke up 2 years ago, we had a very serious relationship for a year, but it all ended in a bad break up. We didnt talk for a year, and I ended up dating someone else. After that relationship ended, we began talking again. For the last year we have been “friends with benefits.” Purely bootycall. I must admit, I call him for the sex at times. But I also miss him. How do i know if he wants a relationship?

If he wants a relationship he’ll take you out on dates — real ones at movie theaters, restaurants, sports events, etc. He’ll introduce you to his friends and family. He’ll treat you like a valued woman in his life and make you feel special.

My advice is never to become a friend with benefits because the woman usually always ends up wanting more than the guy is willing or interested in giving. If you want a real relationship, then take yourself seriously. Otherwise, who else will??
