Can a guy still be interested in you if he doesn’t initiate any text messages (the girl-myself-does) but always answers my texts with answers that are more than just one word?

Lots of guys don’t like to text..my boyfriend is one of them and not only does he never text but he rarely reads them lol. If he answers your calls and talks to you I am guessing he just don’t like to text .

It’s probably not a good idea to keep texting a guy who never initiates the texts, and gives you the least number of words’ answer in response. He’s showing you that he’s not that interested. If his minimalist texting is an anomaly because he calls, asks you out and talks on the phone — but just doesn’t communicate much in this one arena, then that’s different, but if most of your communication with him is this kind of texting, I’d spend your energy on other guys — not him!

Also, be careful that you’re not chasing him with all your texts. If you back off and give HIM something to chase (YOU!), you may find that he’ll start texting YOU instead of the other way around, and starting to chase you in other ways that show his interest, too.
