OK I’m just looking for a straight answer here, I am a Married man, and a colleague (who is 6 years younger)(female) texts me all the time. By all the time I mean all day, from morning till midnight. She knows I am married, and she talks about her boyfriend saying she loves him, (he lives 3 hours away) etc. She also at times sends texts that are considered flirtatious. Also, she was texting me the other day in the presence of her boyfriend. She often states that I am only person she texts…What I am curious, is she hitting on me, bored, friendzone, naive what? I know its wrong to text spare me that I am just trying to understand what this girl is doing. Thank you

When somebody writes me, it’s a lot easier to talk about that person who’s writing, with whom I’m having a back and forth conversation here, than it is about a third party. 😉 It’s a little like going to the doctor and asking him to diagnose a skin condition or a set of symptoms that a friend has, when the friend isn’t in the exam room or on the phone. In other words, I can’t really tell you what’s going through her mind. I can only help you with your feelings and behaviors about yourself. 😉

I can guess, without knowing her, that this woman could be trying to get attention, trying to start an affair, trying to get you in trouble with your wife, trying to ward off loneliness — for starters, but the bottom line is that you can’t really know what’s in her head, but you can know what’s in yours. 🙂

Let me know if you have any questions about yourself and any relationships you’re involved in. 😉
