Hi April,

I am a 23yr old girl who is stuck and needs advice. I met a guy at school this past October. At the time he was still into one of my friends. He liked this girl since the beginning of 2009 but she has told him 3 times she has no interest in her. Recently we have been talking over Facebook. In April, he asked me to hang out and get drinks with him. I was so excited, and then 3 hours before we were supposed to meet up, he said he felt weird going behind this friend’s back and hanging out with me (which is odd because she doesn’t like him, and he asked me for drinks, not vise versa). Anyway, we have still been talking since. I am in NY now for summer and he is in TN. I want to somehow tell him that I want to give hanging out/dating a shot when I get back to TN in August and I want to ask if he feels the same, but I don’t know how to word it?

I’ll give you a shot of advice here in this forum, but this book is a quick read, and [b]RICH[/b] with the advice you need for getting the guy you want and keeping him!

The problem is that this guy isn’t sure about dating you — he’s already made that clear. So your job is to be the seductress (I know, I know — the word is a little old fashioned, but it works!! 🙂 ), and make him want you. If you ask him to hang out or date, you’re going to scare him off, and you’re going to take away his opportunity to figure out that dating you is a GREAT idea, and it was HIS great idea!! 😎 Get it??
