I met my husband in highschool, we have two kids now. I’m 20 he’s 21. He works a lot to provide for us so I can stay home with the kids. Lately it’s been hard for me to even give him a hug and kiss, it feels like a chore and something else I have to do. Its the same with sex. We haven’t had sex in like a year, since I got pregnant with our son. Any advice to help fix our relationship?

Your situation is very common — new parents are exhausted. And exhaustion, coupled with stress, can ruin your sex life — let alone other facets of your lives together. So the first thing you have to do to get yourselves back on track as a couple, is to enlist some help. Get grandparents, aunts and uncles and babysitters, if you can afford them, on a regular rotation so that you have date night together, and even weekends away every month or so — even if you book an in town hotel or motel, just being alone without having to take care of the kids, will help you relax and remember that you’re married to each other!
