You basically took yourself out of the game. 😳 If you don’t talk to her, you’ll never get to know her or give her the chance to know you. You have to tell yourself that talking to her is more important than looking silly, and that if you do say something that is embarrassing, you’re not the first or last person to do so. How she reacts to your saying something silly is also very telling, so if you do find yourself saying something you wish you hadn’t (which probably won’t be the last time you do so), you can learn if she’s empathetic, cruel, understanding, etc.
