Your questions point out a bigger problem: You shouldn’t be living with a girlfriend you’ve only been dating for three months. Obviously, you’re not sure about her commitment to you, and frankly, three months of dating isn’t really enough for anyone to make a living together decision. Three months is the mark in dating when you decide whether or not you want to continue dating that person — not move in with them.
My advice is to reconsider living together. You’re still getting to know her, and by living together, you have all this extra pressure on the relationship to justify the seriousness of co-habitating. Go back to just dating. Keep separate apartments, and at the nine or ten month mark, reconsider living together — if you’re still together.
