So I’ve been talking to this boy for almost a month. This have been going pretty good. He calls me “babe” & says I’m cute & everything. He would always me first all the time. He’s really a great guy. He’s walked me to class once & he was very quiet & he’s not a quiet person at all! Is that a sign that he may be shy? I mean he did offer to walk me there. We even kissed once. When we planned to kiss he said he’s never been excited to kiss somebody before & he said it was weird for him but I could tell he liked it. The excitement I mean. I like him & he even told me he likes me. I told him once yhat it doesnt seem like he likes me at school & said he jus doesnt show his feelings. Until this one day I texted him goodnight & got no reply . Then the next day I texted him & he asked “who is this” & said something was wrong with his phone. Ever since then I’ve been thinking he’s lost interest. Everything seems somewhat normal at school though. Just yesterday he liked my status in facebook & we kinda talked in there. Does he seem shy or unsure about his feelings or is he jus not interested period ? I’m really confused . I would ask but I’m too scared & dont wanna make it seem like I’m nagging. A few of his friends asked me recently if we talk do he must’ve told peoole we do. Should I wait for him to text me first? Is he not interested?? Is he acting this way because he doesn’t wanna get too attached? Please help!! I’m also a new member.

It sounds from your post as if you’re both in high school and that this boy is interested in you, but hasn’t asked you out on a date, and you’re impatient. Relax. The best way for you to know if he likes you enough to date you is for him to ask you out on a date. If he does, you’ll know! Obviously, the attention he pays you and the kiss, means he’s interested in you, but if he’s in high school, he’s probably new to dating and isn’t quite sure what he wants to do next — if anything. You, on the other hand, are ready for a relationship.

Don’t ask him if he likes you (too pushy) and just be your best, flirtatious self. If he wants to ask you out on a date, he will!
