Your boyfriend of six months isn’t really into the relationship as much as he’s into things being easy for himself. When a guy really likes you and wants you to be his girlfriend, and is excited about a future together, he’s going to treat you like a girlfriend! He’s going to take you out, try to please you, show you off to his friends and make you feel special. And your part in all this is to be that person who he wants to treat this way! 😎 It sounds like he’s just looking for company so he doesn’t have to be lonely, and his need to take care of himself is greater than his need to take care of you. Try not to be complicit in this dynamic and you’ll feel better about yourself. 😉
