Hi April,

A small problem..The new facebook ‘seen’ feature has me in a quandry. Looked up and messaged an ex boyfriend, no reply, was upset then saw recently that the message was never ‘seen’.

Now this boyfriend is from a long time ago but I found some old letters from him before I looked him up and when I didn’t hear back I was more upset than I expected to be. I can’t stop thinking about him! I would love to reconnect with him but I don’t want to make a fool of myself.

So what now? Is this feature reliable? I don’t want to message again in case it was ‘seen’ and he doesn’t want to get in touch!

Not everybody reads their social media messages regularly. If he hasn’t seen it yet, he will, but don’t contact him again. It’s going to come off as desperate if you do. 😉

Yes, I know I can’t message again, but I am worried that it might have gone into the ‘Other’ folder and he might never see it. Then I have missed my chance.
