We’ve been together for almost 3 years and I have never met this “Paige” friend of his he can’t seem to stop talking/flirting with.

I’ve seen old pictures of them very close together, I’m 100% sure they’ve dated before I came along, and I’ve seen calls, texts, and “I miss yous” and “sexys” being thrown around.

She is taken however. And he’s admitted to putting her name as a guy’s name on his phone: “Matt”.

I don’t know how to feel about this whole situation. I’m not obsessive or insecure but when I see stuff like this I suddenly become so.

In fact I think he’s even hung out with her behind my back, without ever mentioning anything to me.

I’m happy with him, I mean we’ve been together for almost 3 years, is it worth it to end all of that for whatever this is called? friendship? That’s not how I believe friends should act.

And I haven’t even mentioned to him that I know all of the above things. As of right now, he thinks I’m completely clueless to what is going on, and I don’t know if I can keep it all bottled up anymore.

It sounds like he’s keeping this woman and his relationship with her separate and even secret from you. This is a flashing yellow light that he’s not that serious about you. It sounds like she’s someone he’s either dating on the side or else keeping on the side in case they’re ever both single at the same time. Whatever it is, he’s not as serious about you as you might think.
