SallyStrothersMember #252,316Okay so I have been dating this guy for about a month now and I really like him, however, there is something that is really bothering me that I am having a hard time addressing. I met him on the internet and in his pictures I never seen his teeth. Once I met him in person I relized why. He has perfect teeth except for the front 3 teeth are a greyish/black that appears to be rotten or dead in the root of the teeth. He has a really good job with excellent benefits and I know he has the insurance to get them fixed. I have noticed that he has bad breath every time we are together and it appears to be the same smell everytime, which leads me to believe that it is the 3 teeth that are decayed/rotten. How can I address this issue with him without hurting his feelings? I truly believe if this issue could be resolved we could be a very happy couple. Help!!!

The trick is to bring this issue up without insulting him, so do it with a compliment. For instance, you can say something like, “I’m a little embarrassed to bring this up because I’ve probably got more flaws than anyone — but you’re such a handsome, sexy guy, I can’t help wondering what you’d look like if you had your teeth worked on — I keep fantasizing about what you’d look like, and it’s pretty exciting. I hope you don’t mind my talking about this…..” It’s going to be tough to do this, but you have to because this is an obstacle to getting closer to him. 😉 Let me know how things go.
