So here’s the deal, I’ve known this guy forever, we know everything about each other, we trust each other, and he’s my best guy friend. It’s not really a full on friends with benefits thing, the most we have done is send nudes and videos to each other (We do this quite often). I know that we both want to do more than just send pics, and we have talked about it, but have not done anything yet. I know that fwb never turn out into anything serious, but I want t be more than fwb. Is there a way to turn this into a something serious before we actually further our fwb relationship?

If you want to have a serious, dating relationship that becomes monogamous, then you have to get yourself out of whatever’s left of the friend zone, and become someone he wants to date. That means not seeing him unless he wants to date you and flirting with him so it is very clear you’re interested. I’d also stop sending those nude photos and videos…. that’s usually not how a serious dating relationship begins and if you can try and become someone he wants to date, not someone he wants to hook up with, you’ll have a better chance of the real deal. 😉
