So when i was 15 i dated this girl for about six months lets call her sarah. I was obviously a total dick because i was a young guy and broke up with her to go out with some one else. She never spoke to me again untill i was 18. Around this time i broke up with my girlfriend of 3 and a half years. Sarah was great and helped me get over it and we started being good friends again but nothing else. Over the next three years we grew really close but she was in a relationship and although one drunken night we kissed nothing else happened. Then when i was 20 i got a job in the middle east and have been working out here for over a year. im going home next week and i spoke to sarah on the phone. she was so happy and excited to hear from me and said she had broken up with her boyfriend but was dating someone new. I think im realising that i love her but this guy sounds like a pretty nice guy. We have been through a lot and helped each other through some hard times so i dont know if i should tell her and **** up the amazing relationship we have. I have a habit of wrecking things around me so i dont think its fair i do the same to her when she seems to be getting on with her life. But i love her. what should i do?
appreciate nay advice thanks…

Except for one pretty cryptic remark you made, my advice is clear. If you love her, ask her out on a date! She’s a grown up and she can say yes or no. Take responsibility for yourself and assume she will for herself, too. The worst thing you can do is to regret not having asked her out and find out years later that she was hoping you would. So do it!

As for the cryptic remark…you said you have a habit of wrecking things around you. 😕 I’m not sure what that means but as long as you are truthful and your intentions are clear, I’m not sure how you can wreck things here.

I hope that helps. Let me know how it goes. And please join me on Facebook. Here’s the link: .
