I am a guy 50+ ask a girl 50+ to go movie and dinner during xmas new year time She reply ” maybe after xmas I still have a sore throat, give a few day call me again.”
After xmas I call her again and ask her to go movie dinner.
” I have a dinner party, But abc ( her gf which I know) want to go movie, will u join us tomorrow.”
Well I do not feel comfort going to movie me and 2 girls, so I told her something came up and cannot join them for movie.
she reply ” I know people r busy this time of the year. ABC ( her gf )is wanting to go movie this week because she is off this week. She has been depressed for over 2 weeks ( her gf breakup with her bf ) I promise to keep her company.

You’re not sure if she’s interested because you haven’t made it clear what you’re interested in. 😉 Your instinct not to accept an invitation with she and her friend is a good one. Trust your instincts. They’re working! 🙂 Tell her you like her to much her share her! Give it another shot and make it a good one. Tell her there’s a great romantic (key word) restaurant where you’d like to take her to dinner and get to know her more. In other words, you have to make it super clear what kind of a date you’re interested in, and what your intentions are (romantic). If she says no, or give you the brush off, move on. If she doesn’t, then you’ve cleared out the social, emotional clutter and you’re on your way!
