jazaylkMember #100,003My girlfriend unplugs the toaster oven and some other stuff even when they’re turned off because she claims it saves electricity. I think she might be crazy. Am I right or wrong?
September 30, 2011 at 8:21 pm #20042Based on this evidence, you are. 😕 October 6, 2011 at 1:01 pm #20226
jazaylkMember #100,003Thanks, April – But I am what? Right? Wrong? Crazy?

jazaylkMember #100,003Okay, I just read your reply to my second post. You asked me to ask a second question as a reply to my first, so… Here it is again: She keeps her Dad’s ashes on her nightstand. Isn’t that a little weird? Or should I just relax about it?
I hadn’t realized this was the same topic.
Thanks April!
October 6, 2011 at 8:31 pm #20222Okay….. you seem to have two complaints about your girlfriend. One is that she unplugs appliances when she’s not using them. The second is that she keeps her father’s ashes by her bedside. I have a feeling there’s more to this problem than these two issues. How old are you both? How long have you been dating? Are these your only two issues with the relationship? When did her father pass away? Why does she have the ashes and not her mother?
Let me know — and I’ll be happy to give you a more comprehensive answer!

NeilPearsonMember #103,344I don’t know if she is crazy… definitely a little unusual though January 23, 2016 at 8:32 pm #32009Happy New Year! Let me know how things are going for you. 😉 May 14, 2026 at 9:47 am #55500
Vic128Member #382,891Lol, maybe what she means is that it’s safer—since it’s already turned off anyway, why not just unplug it from the socket? I don’t think she’s crazy.
